For too long, companies have promoted individuals based purely on their performance and “hard skills” without ensuring they are actually good at leading or connecting with others.

Sinek highlights a critical gap in today’s professional world: the lack of training in what he calls “human skills” and I agree.

While Sinek’s conversation focuses heavily on leadership and workplace dynamics, these insights are incredibly relevant to the world of sales. Sales Mastery isn’t just about hitting numbers; it requires deep human connection. By replacing the outdated term “soft skills” with “human skills,” we can focus on the abilities necessary to build trust, navigate client relationships, and truly excel.
