I overheard someone say that “You can’t change the people around you, but you can change the people around you.”
I think it’s more than a clever play with words. 😀. However I feel that it’s not always the best option to change or replace a person, specially at the work place.
Faced many times with this situation at work, when someone was a misfit, I tried instead to identify their strengths and reassigned them accordingly. I found this approach far more effective. What do you think ? 🤔
